YEKATERINBURG, June 12A boat and a boat collided on a city pond in Yekaterinburg, two women were injured, one of them is in serious condition, the press service of the Sverdlovsk Ministry of Health reported.

It is noted that both patients were taken to the Yekaterinburg hospital, doctors are providing them with the necessary medical care.
After the incident, the Ural Transport Prosecutor's Office began an inspection, during which it will evaluate the provision of services on the water. “It has been established that in Yekaterinburg, on a city pond, a boat rammed a boat. All the circumstances of the incident are being clarified,” the department said.
As the regional head office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations added, specialists from the State Inspectorate for Small Vessels have also begun an investigation into the incident. “It has already been established that small vessels were registered, navigators had the rights to operate them,” the head office emphasized.
