Recently, fresh spy photos of the new Bigster crossover were published on the Internet, thanks to which we can imagine what the new product will look like.< /p>
Bigster will be the new and also the largest model in the range of the Romanian brand, owned by Renault. Now it exists only in the form of a concept, which was presented at the beginning of 2021. What will the production version be?
Third generation Dacia Duster 1/3

Judging by the spy photos of camouflaged samples, the design of the new product will be already familiar from the above-mentioned concept and the third-generation Duster crossover. Moreover, superimposing photos of prototypes of the future Bigster on the Duster show that in many details the crossovers are virtually identical. They have the same wheelbase, outlines of doors and wheel arches, as well as the location of the door handles. Most likely, the Bigster will be an extended version of the younger SUV. The design of the front and rear parts also looks almost identical, with the exception of small details of the front bumper. There is a possibility that the older crossover will lose massive decorative elements on the front doors. The most significant difference in appearance is a noticeably increased rear overhang, allowing for three rows of seats. In addition, the Bigster may get a slightly increased roof level, which will also have a positive effect on the volume of the cabin. Another new detail is the original design of the wheels, as on one of the test prototypes.

The Bigster will be built on the same CMF-B platform as other new Dacia models, including the third-generation Duster. The engine range will most likely be partially or completely borrowed from the latter, with the exception of perhaps the base engine with a capacity of 100 hp. Among other options are the mild hybrid installation ТСе 130 with a petrol turbo three-liter with a volume of 1.2 liters, as well as the Hybrid 140 with a naturally aspirated petrol 1.6 with a capacity of 94 hp. and a 49-horsepower electric motor, the total output is 140 hp.
