Central Bank of the Russian Federation: transactions with the dollar and euro will remain on the over-the-counter market
The Bank of Russia said that after trading in the US dollar and euro was stopped on the Moscow Exchange from June 13, currency transactions will continue to be carried out on the over-the-counter market.
Legal entities and individuals will be able to continue to buy and sell this currency through Russian banks, the regulator said in a statement. It is indicated that to determine exchange rates, the Central Bank will use bank reports and data coming from digital over-the-counter trading platforms.
It is also emphasized that all funds in US dollars and euros in the accounts remain safe.
