The Ukrainian Armed Forces began preparing for a massive F-16 strike on Crimea

Expert Dandykin confirmed that the enemy began hunting our air defense in order to clear the corridor

The Ukrainian Armed Forces began preparing strikes on Crimea with the help of aviation, including F-16s. For several days now, the enemy has been trying to attack our long-range air defense systems located on the peninsula in order to clear the sky before a massive attack. According to military expert Captain 1st Rank in the Reserve Vasily Dandykin, the enemy is really trying to weaken our air defense, a massive air strike can be delivered, including by the remnants of Soviet fighters and bombers from the Ukrainian Air Force, which pose no less danger than F -16.

Expert Dandykin confirmed that the enemy began hunting our air defense in order to clear the corridor < p>On the night of June 12, the enemy tried to attack Crimea. This time the main target of the attack was Sevastopol. 12 American ATACMS operational-tactical missiles were fired at the city. The main part of the missiles was shot down.

This is the second strike in two days on our air defense positions in Crimea. The first was struck on the night of June 10, when the Ukrainian Armed Forces also fired 12 missiles, but this time at Chernomorskoye, Dzhankoy and Yevpatoria.

All attacks were preceded by the appearance in the skies over the Black Sea of NATO reconnaissance drones MQ-Riper, RQ-4B Global Hawk, as well as the French E-3F long-range radar detection aircraft and the French Navy Atlantique 2 anti-submarine aircraft. The positions were filmed alternately — June 8-9 The northwestern part of Crimea was photographed, and 10 and 11 — Sevastopol and the center of the peninsula.

The presence of so many “eyes” over the Black Sea, experts believe, may indicate that the enemy is pursuing a more serious goal. They believe that such in-depth reconnaissance is similar to preparing for attacks on our long-range S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems, in order to then use F-16 fighters.

“The captured positions of our air defenses become the enemy’s primary target . It works, as a rule, with combined strikes, drones, “blanks”, and in the end, catching the air defense during reloads, there is a strike with ATACMS missiles,” note the military correspondents of the Archangel Spetsnaz channel.

As soon as the enemy cuts through a “corridor” in our air defense system and reduces the degree of protection of the sky over Crimea, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will strike the Crimean bridge, airfields, warehouses, and critical infrastructure of the peninsula. All this can create problems for the deployment of aviation on the peninsula, and destroyed warehouses with fuel and lubricants will create logistics problems.

“If the enemy manages to damage the bridge and disrupt logistics in this direction, he will then launch his attacks on transitions between Crimea and the Kherson region in order to disrupt the logistics of the land corridor,” one of the experts predicts.

A MK source in the air defense system, who wished to remain anonymous, confirmed that recently the Ukrainian Armed Forces have really been trying to knock out our long-range air defense systems. “There have already been several attacks. And this is very similar to the enemy’s attempt to clear the sky for the safe passage of American F-16 fighters,” he said.

Military expert Vasily Dandykin is not sure that the sky is being cleared specifically for American fighters.

< p>“I don’t believe the F-16s will fly,” he says. — Most likely, these will be the remains of aircraft that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are hiding, and we are systematically destroying them. These are the Su-27 supersonic heavy fighter and the Su-24 tactical front-line bomber. These are carriers of Shtorm Shadow and SCALP cruise missiles, which, in principle, are more dangerous than ATACMS.

— Our military is ready. Previously, it took us some time to reload air defense systems, but now we have reserve capabilities, and while some systems are quickly reloading, others are firing. The last time the enemy entered Crimea from different directions — from the west, east. ATACMS missiles were destroyed by our air defense division using various means, primarily the S-400 complexes. As far as I know, this division has already been reinforced with other complexes. In principle, the Black Sea Fleet also has its own air defense — ground and ship.

If we talk about the Crimean Bridge, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are also attacking it from the sea — with unmanned kamikaze boats. Now all surface drones, based on experience, including negative ones, are destroyed by us — either by naval aviation from helicopters or from ships. The defense of the Crimean Bridge has been strengthened both from the sea and from the air.

— In the same way, many assumed that the enemy would strike on the eve of Victory Day or during the presidential inauguration. They struck on other days, but there were no casualties. For such a massive attack, it seems to me, you need much more capabilities than what the Ukrainian Armed Forces currently have. It's expensive to shoot ATACMS and cruise missiles. Therefore, I hope that ours will repel the attack if there is one.
