MOSCOW, June 12 American sanctions will not put pressure on the Russian economy, market participants have long adapted to such actions of our opponents, said the deputy head of the budget committee of the Federation Council Alexander Shenderyuk-Zhidkov.
The new anti-Russian sanctions, announced on Wednesday by the US Treasury, concern various areas: scientific, defense, financial, energy and even public. Washington prohibits the provision of software and IT services to any person on the territory of the Russian Federation. The United States is also threatening to impose sanctions against foreign banks for transactions with Russian financial institutions, including Sberbank and VTB. 
“»Over the past two years, Russia has completely overcome sanctions restrictions, and the United States, realizing its powerlessness, is constantly looking for a new reason to weaken our economic growth. Another blow is being dealt again to the largest financial institutions and participants in international payments,» he said Shenderyuk-Zhidkov.
Moreover, the Moscow Exchange, which works with a huge number of retail investors, was chosen for attacks, and the goal of the United States, according to the senator, is to weaken economic and investment activity and try to put pressure on our trading partners again.
