President Vladimir Putin signed a corresponding decree on the eve of Russia Day
Seven Russian scientists became laureates of the State Prize in the field of science and technology for 2023. The corresponding decree was signed by the country's President Vladimir Putin on the eve of Russia Day, June 11.
Prizes were awarded to the President of the Kurchatov Institute Mikhail Kovalchuk, scientific director of the Research Design Institute of Power Engineering, liquidator of the Chernobyl accident Evgeniy Adamov, statesman, nuclear energy specialist, liquidator of the Chernobyl accident Vladimir Asmolov; transplant surgeon, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergei Gauthier, transplantologist Marina Minina, transplantologist Mogeli Khubutia, molecular biologist, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Pyotr Chumakov.
The presentation of state awards will traditionally take place on Russia Day, June 12.
