
MOSCOW, June 16 Florida Panthers hockey players suffered a major loss in Game 4 of the 2024 Stanley Cup Final against the Edmonton Oilers.
The meeting, which took place in Edmonton, ended in victory for the home team with a score of 8:1 (3:1, 3:0, 2:0). For the Oilers, goals were scored by Matthias Janmark (4th minute), Adam Henrik (8), Dylan Holloway (15, 54), Connor McDavid (22), Darnell Nurse (25), Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (34) and Ryan MacLeod (57). Russian striker Vladimir Tarasenko (12) scored a goal for Florida.

Tarasenko scored the fifth goal of his career in the Stanley Cup Finals. He scored three goals in the tournament final in the 2018-19 season as part of the St. Louis Blues, and he scored two more goals in the 2024 series with Florida. The record holders among Russians for the number of goals in the Stanley Cup Finals are Sergei Fedorov (8 goals in 17 games) and Evgeni Malkin (8 goals in 25 games), and Nikita Kucherov (6 goals and 22 games) is also among the top three Russian hockey players in this indicator.
Florida goalie Sergei Bobrovsky allowed five goals after 17 shots on goal and was replaced in the 25th minute of the game. Panthers defenseman Dmitry Kulikov made one shot on goal and made five body checks.
