
MOSCOW, June 15 Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Cyril Ramaphosa on the occasion of his re-election as President of the Republic of South Africa, noted his contribution to the development of strategic partnership relations between the countries, the corresponding telegram was published on the Kremlin website.
«Dear Mr. Ramaphosa, please accept heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of his re-election as President of South Africa -Republic of Africa. We highly appreciate your personal contribution to the development of strategic partnership relations between our countries, as well as productive Russian-South African interaction within the UN, BRICS, G20 and other multilateral structures,” the telegram says.
< br>Putin added that he expects to continue a constructive dialogue with President Ramaphosa and joint work on current issues on the bilateral and international agenda.
“I will be glad to welcome you to the BRICS summit in Kazan on October 22–24. I wish you new successes in such responsible activities at the head of the state, as well as health and prosperity,” the telegram adds.
