ROME, June 15 Vincenzo Lorusso, the organizer of a series of screenings of the documentary film «Donbass. Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow» in Italy, called its removal from the YouTube video service censorship, suggesting that the authors of this decision come themselves for evidence of the crimes of the Kyiv authorities.
The Italian state regulator for media and telecommunications Agcom had previously asked YouTube and the social network to remove the documentary, accusing it of allegedly inciting racial hatred and humiliating human dignity.
«Censorship is a blow to independent and free information. As usual, the documentary is blocked, considered propaganda and false. I would like to ask the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Agcom what the lie is,» Lorusso said. The journalist, who regularly works in Donbas, has already held more than two dozen screenings of the film, which tells the story of the confrontation between Donbas and the Kyiv regime, in various cities in Italy and is planning new events.
«Isn't it true that the people of Donbass have been subjected to aggression from 2014 to the present day? Isn't it true that in 2014 a coup d'etat took place in Ukraine? Isn't it true that crimes committed by Ukrainian nationalist battalions took place in Donbass and Odessa? Do you need evidence? Come to Donbass, I'm waiting for you,» the agency's source said, addressing the Italian Foreign Ministry and the state regulator.
