Earlier, Governor Roman Busargin reported that the gas pipeline in the Storozhevka area had previously depressurized due to abnormal heat and was experiencing a fire. He later reported that the landscape fire near the gas pipeline had been localized, there was no threat of the fire spreading, and there would be no interruptions in the gas supply.
According to the head office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the gas pipeline flare reached a height of five meters, and there were no casualties. The regional government stated that the landscape fire in the area of the gas pipeline that caught fire has been completely extinguished.
