ROSTOV-ON-DON, June 16 A warden and an operational officer are being held hostage by the accused in a pre-trial detention center in Rostov-on-Don, an informed source said.
“An operational officer and an inspector-supervisor are being held hostage,” he said, adding that negotiations are underway with the captors.
Earlier, the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia reported that on Sunday the accused, held in one of the cells of the pre-trial detention center-1 of the GUFSIN in the Rostov region, took two employees hostage, the pre-trial detention center is functioning as usual.
