MOSCOW, June 15 VTB will temporarily suspend the issuance of IT mortgages from June 17 due to the exhaustion of the allocated limit, the bank’s press service reported.
“»From June 17, VTB will temporarily suspend the issuance of IT mortgages due to the exhaustion of the allocated limit,» the message said. 
It is noted that the bank will continue to accept and consider applications for the program in all channels. Loan agreements concluded before June 17 remain in force, clients will be able to conduct transactions on them on previously approved terms.
«»We are awaiting the government's decision on further financing of IT mortgages. After the appropriate decisions are made and limits are allocated, we are ready to promptly resume work on the program. Since the start of work on IT mortgages in May 2022, 15.9 thousand clients have received loans from VTB under it , the total volume of transactions already exceeds 154.5 billion rubles,” VTB said.
In April 2024, the Russian government increased the total limit of funds for issuing preferential mortgage loans for IT specialists by 200 billion rubles to 700 billion rubles.
The mortgage program for employees of accredited IT companies was launched by the government in 2022 to support the industry and create comfortable conditions for its workers.
