In the Urals, a citizen of Kazakhstan was arrested for 13 days due to shouts of “Glory to Ukraine” at the police department

The Revda City Court of the Sverdlovsk Region arrested for 13 days Kazakh citizen Andrei Khokhlov, who shouted “Glory to Ukraine” at the police station. This is stated in the decree published on the court’s website; Mediazona drew attention to it.

On June 4, Khokhlov was detained on the street because he was swearing. At the Revdinsky police station on Tsvetnikov Street, the detainee, in the presence of security forces, began to “wave his arms” and shout “Glory to Ukraine,” follows from the decision.

The police drew up reports against the man for petty hooliganism due to swearing in public place and about the demonstration of extremist symbols because of the words “Glory to Ukraine” (Part 1 of Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses and Part 1 of Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The court considered this phrase “an attribute of greeting from extremist organizations UNA-UNSO and «Right Sector».

The man was found guilty of both charges the day after his arrest. According to the first protocol, he was fined 500 rubles, and according to the second, 13 days of administrative arrest. Khokhlov admitted guilt and repented. He explained that he shouted “Glory to Ukraine” at the police because he was drunk.
