MOSCOW, June 17 Rostec has supplied improved sapper bulletproof vests «Obereg-S» for humanitarian demining in new regions, the press service of the state corporation reported.
«The Tula Oktava plant of the Rostec State Corporation supplied the humanitarian demining group with the first batch of Obereg-S sapper body armor for work in new regions of Russia,» the statement says.
It is noted that «Obereg-S», unlike its analogues, is lightweight, mobile and at the same time has a large area of protection from fragments. The equipment is equipped with an adjustable collar, so when using a helmet with a visor, no gaps are formed, which prevents fragments from getting into the neck and face area. The body armor also has protection for the groin and inner thighs, the state corporation reported.
