MOSCOW, June 15 Acting Head of the Altai Territory Andrei Turchak asked to be relieved of his duties as secretary of the General Council of United Russia, said party chairman Dmitry Medvedev.
“As you know, Andrei Anatolyevich Turchak has been appointed acting head of the Altai Republic and is now preparing for elections. In this regard, he contacted the party with a request to relieve him of his duties as secretary of the general council due to changes in his work history,» Medvedev said.
According to Medvedev, this reason is valid.
