In India, 16-year-old A schoolgirl died from pregnancy complications after being raped. The Times of India writes about this.
The girl met the rapist on social networks. They talked for some time. The publication writes that the man lured her with promises of marriage and sexually harassed her.
“He sexually assaulted her in various places for four months,” the report says.
In December In 2023, the girl found out she was pregnant. In March, she and her parents went to the police, but no one began to investigate.
The girl’s condition worsened, two weeks ago she was admitted to the hospital. Then it was decided to transport her to another clinic, but she died on the way.
The attacker was detained and an investigation is underway.
