MOSCOW, June 18 The DPRK, despite many years of economic pressure, provocations, blackmail and military threats from the United States, is effectively defending its interests, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted in an article for the Rodong Sinmun newspaper, «Russia and the DPRK: Traditions of Friendship and Cooperation Through the Years,» posted on the Kremlin website.
«It is gratifying that our Korean friends — despite many years of economic pressure, provocations, blackmail and military threats from the United States — are just as effectively defending their interests,» the president wrote.
