In Kolpino, a woman was crushed by a two-ton structure at a foundry
In St. Petersburg, a foundry worker was seriously injured at work.
As Fontanka writes, the emergency happened at a foundry in Kolpino. According to the published recording from a surveillance camera, a worker approached one of the units to check the work, at that moment another began to fall and, together with a neighboring structure, collapsed on her.
By luck, the fallen structures with a total weight of two tons did not hit head, but the victim suffered a fracture of the spine, ribs and shoulder. The woman is currently in intensive care in serious condition.
