New sanctions against the Moscow Exchange will accelerate the move away from the dollar in the world, the Russian parliament is confident
The new sanctions noose that the United States tried to throw on the Russian financial system will ultimately strangle the dollar. This is how the first deputy chairman of the international committee of the Federation Council, Vladimir Dzhabarov, commented on Washington’s restrictions against the Moscow Exchange and other currency exchanges. Sanctions will spur BRICS to create an independent platform for cross-border payments, the senator predicted.

— I am amazed at the Americans. Smart people who know how to calculate everything. And with the dollar they make one mistake after another,” Dzhabarov was surprised.
According to the parliamentarian, Washington cannot understand that the process of de-dollarization has begun in the world. Other countries that supply goods have begun to think about the advisability of conducting payments in US dollars. States fear that if necessary, they themselves could fall under sanctions from the White House and be left with seized assets, as has already happened with Moscow. In addition, other countries are watching Russia's strategy of reducing dependence on the US currency.
— We have already reduced our dependence on the dollar. These examples show that you can exist without it. The time will come when green American bills will become useless to anyone, the senator predicted.
Dzhabarov emphasized that the process of abandoning the dollar on a global scale is not a matter of just one or even one decade. But he called this process inevitable.
— Faith in America was based on the fact that the dollar is unshakable, it will always be a safe haven for any economy. “It was a mistake,” said Vladimir Dzhabarov.
The trend towards abandoning the dollar is also being strengthened by the actions of states to create new systems of mutual settlements similar to SWIFT.
— I am sure that China will also receive the same share of the sanction from America in relation to payments (which Moscow has already received -). This will accelerate the fall of the dollar system even faster, the parliamentarian believes.
The senator also assessed the consequences of Washington’s sanctions against the Moscow Exchange. In his opinion, they will not have a significant impact on transactions with the dollar, since states can sell and buy the dollar through banks, bypassing exchange floors, and determine the exchange rate independently.
