MOSCOW, June 17 The arrival of four unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) was recorded on the territory of the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant (NLMK), there were no casualties, the enterprise is operating as usual, the steel company said.
«On the seventeenth of June, on the territory of an enterprise that produces exclusively products for general civilian use, the arrival of four UAVs was recorded. Since the beginning of the year, a total of 10 UAVs were involved in four attacks aimed at production facilities, two UAVs were destroyed before the industrial site. None of the employees was not injured. The company is operating as normal,” NLMK responded.
In February, the governor of the Lipetsk region, Igor Artamonov, said that parts of a suppressed drone had been neutralized on the territory of the metallurgical plant. It was noted that there were no casualties and there was no significant impact on the operation of the enterprise. «Novolipetsk Iron and Steel Works» is Russia's largest steel producer, the main production site of the NLMK group.
