PARIS, June 18 French actress Anouk Aimée, who starred in the film “A Man and a Woman,” has died at the age of 92, her daughter, actress Manuela Papatakis, said.
“With my daughter Galad and granddaughter Mila, we are deeply saddened to announce the death of my mother Anouk Aimee,” the 72-year-old actress said on social media. Aimee died at home in Paris surrounded by her family.
The actress has starred in more than 80 films, including Frederico Fellini’s dramas “8 and a Half” and “La Dolce Vita.” One of her most famous works is the role of the widow Anne Gautier in Claude Lelouch's film «A Man and a Woman» in 1966, for which Aimée was awarded a Golden Globe Award.
