LUGANSK, June 18 Serviceman Anton Mikuzhis, who accompanied an NTV television crew that came under fire in Gorlovka, died from his wounds in the hospital, his colleague said.
On June 13, in Gorlovka, as a result of a strike from a Ukrainian drone, correspondent Alexey Ivliev and cameraman Valery Kozhin, as well as an escort officer, were hospitalized. Kozhin died from his wounds, and Ivliev lost his arm.
“Anton Mikuzhis passed away today, he died in the hospital,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
The message about Mikuzhis’s death was also posted on the Telegram channel government of the LPR.
Previously, Mikuzhis served in the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, and repeatedly prepared hot materials from the front lines. Mikuzys was 33 years old, he left behind a family.
