MOSCOW, June 19 Hungary has agreed to a new, 14th package of EU sanctions against the Russian Federation, while Germany still expresses doubts, the publication reports EUObserver.
“»Hungary…agreed to the 14th package last Friday…Germany still had slight doubts on Monday about tightening rules for subsidiaries of EU firms operating in Russia,» the publication writes.
It is noted that, despite Germany’s doubts, diplomats interviewed by the publication expect that a solution will be found in this regard by the time of the meeting of EU foreign ministers on June 24.
Diplomats told the publication that since the end of May the draft of a new package of EU sanctions against the Russian Federation has expanded.
