SIMFEROPOL, June 18 Personnel decisions in the Ministry of Defense RF are dictated by the need to find new approaches to solving the problems that emerged during the Northern Military District, said Crimean political expert Vladimir Dzharalla.
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday dismissed First Deputy Defense Minister Ruslan Tsalikov and three deputies: Nikolai Pankov, Tatyana Shevtsova, Pavel Popov. At the same time, the head of state appointed Leonid Gornin as first deputy minister of defense, Pavel Fradkov and Anna Tsivileva as deputy ministers.
«From a management point of view, everything is clear: the old team is removed, a new one comes in. But personalities are important here. The new appointees have already proven themselves well in the areas of federal business management. They are not associated with the army, but in this case “It’s probably better. Having different experience and a broader view of the world, they must find new approaches to solving the problems that emerged during the NWO,” Jarallah said.
In his opinion, the areas of their responsibility will be the social side of military service, financial discipline in the field of ordering and acceptance, and “on-the-fly” solutions to emerging technical and social problems.
«The assumption is confirmed that [Minister of Defense Andrei] Belousov sets the goal of optimizing costs while achieving maximum effect. And we have to act without delay, solving everyday problems to achieve victory in the ongoing conflict and laying down solutions now that guarantee future security our homeland,” the expert said.
