MOSCOW, June 19, Andrey Mikhailov. Moscow Spartak footballer Daniil Khlusevich said that he spent his vacation in his native Crimea and advises everyone to visit the peninsula, but the best way to get there is by car.
On Wednesday, Spartak players undergo a medical examination ahead of the start of pre-season training. Earlier on Tuesday, the new head coach of the «red-whites», Serbian Dejan Stankovic, arrived in Moscow.
«How can you spend your summer vacation not in Crimea? Of course, I spent it there. There are so many beautiful places there and I haven't been to them all yet. I still want to visit many, but I don't have much time and it's not easy to combine trips with a meeting with my family. I advise people to go to Crimea, but it's better to go there by car,» Khlusevich told reporters.
The footballer also noted that the players had a farewell meeting with Vladimir Slishkovic and had a good talk.
«We said goodbye to Sliskovic, had a good talk. His departure did not depend on us — we were waiting for a decision. Were there any preconditions for his departure? This is football life and there are different moments. Someone said something. I have not yet had the chance to meet Dejan Stankovic. I will meet him, I will be able to say something about him. His football career is great, there was a crazy goal against Neuer against Schalke. His career as a footballer is excellent. I think it will be similar with his coaching career,» said Khlusevich.
