SIMFEROPOL, June 19Ukrainian troops hit a substation in the village of Burchak, Zaporozhye region, leaving 435 subscribers without power supply, reported the region’s governor, Evgeniy Balitsky.
“As a result of the attack, a transformer was damaged, 435 subscribers were left without power supply,” Balitsky wrote in his Telegram channel. 
According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked Burchak at about eight in the morning, and the consequences of the shelling are now being eliminated. It is planned to start power supply using backup schemes. There were no casualties as a result of the shelling, Balitsky noted.
Zaporozhye region is a region of Russia located in the lower reaches of the Dnieper. Became part of the Russian Federation following a referendum in September 2022. Kyiv does not recognize its results and continues to shell the territory. Currently, more than 70% of the Zaporozhye region is under Russian control. The rest, including the regional center, the city of Zaporozhye, is held by Ukrainian troops. Since March 2023, the administrative center of the region has temporarily become the city of Melitopol.
