BARNAUL, June 18 Federal ministers will arrive in Republic of Altai, said the acting head of the region Andrei Turchak in his Telegram channel.
“We have support in the government. We also understand how we are moving. We are expecting visits from federal ministers in the near future. We will deal with all the issues on the spot,” — Turchak wrote.
Also, the acting head of the region announced that he was beginning to collect proposals for the people's program of the Altai Republic. Together with residents, the authorities will determine what changes are needed in the districts and Gorno-Altaisk, he noted.
Turchak also said that he met with Deputy Prime Minister and curator for Siberia Dmitry Patrushev, they discussed the further implementation of the rural development program and additional opportunities to support Altai farmers and environmental projects. And with the Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services Irek Fayzullin, Turchak discussed the situation with the construction of social facilities and the state of the utility network, preparing the region for winter, improvement projects in Gorno-Altaisk and regions of the republic.
