In terms of the number of requests to Avtotek in the period from March to May 2024, the leaders were motorcycles belonging to the class of sportbikes — these are sports road motorcycles. Their share in the total number of requests is 28.62%. In second place is the Naked bike class (a sportbike without plastic cladding) with 18.61%. The third line of the rating with 18.47% is occupied by the sport-tourist class, which combines the characteristics of a sportbike and the comfort of a touring motorcycle. Fourth place goes to the “Cruiser or chopper” category. It includes serial and customized heavy motorcycles with low-speed engines of relatively large volume. The share of such bikes is 17.35%. The top five is closed by the touring class (these are motorcycles for long, comfortable trips), whose share is 7.14%.
The most popular model among sportbikes was the Yamaha YZF-R6. This sports bike with a 600 cc engine. cm was produced from 1999 to 2020.
