New details have emerged about the mass detention at the Moscow University of Medicine and Dentistry. This was reported on the evening of June 19 by the Baza Telegram channel.
The publication specifies that the teachers and students of MGMSU could have been detained because of a case that happened two years ago. According to Baza, about 30 people were taken to the police department. Among those detained were teachers from different faculties.
The channel's sources claim that the detentions took place at several addresses. Apartments were searched, and security forces seized equipment and documents.
Also, according to sources, the development of students and teachers could have begun two years ago. Then, allegedly, two students collected several million rubles from other students «for exams.» However, in the end, not everyone passed the exams, and relatives of one of the university students filed a statement about fraud.
