MOSCOW, June 19 At least 15 people died in Uganda after the truck they were traveling in overturned, local publication Monitor reported, citing police.
The incident occurred in the village of Namilyango in the Central Region at about 13.30 (coincides with Moscow time).
«The driver, who was not identified, lost control of the vehicle on the slope, causing it to overturn, resulting in the death of 15 people, 11 of whom died on the spot. The remaining four died in the hospital.» , said a police spokesman.
The head of the local trade union, Frank Muyimbwa, said that 55 market traders were traveling in the truck.
