MOSCOW, June 19 Russia and Tanzania signed an agreement on air services, according to the official Telegram channel of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.< br />In February, the Ambassador of Tanzania to the Russian Federation, Fredrick Ibrahim Kibuta, told reporters that it is planned to open direct flights between Tanzania and Russia, and a corresponding agreement is planned to be signed in the near future.
«Today, an agreement was signed at the Russian Ministry of Transport between the government of the Russian Federation and the government of the United Republic of Tanzania on air traffic… The parties agreed on the mutual application of national legislation in relation to carriers, cooperation in the field of ensuring flight safety and aviation security in accordance with ICAO standards,» says the message of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.
The agreement contains the principles of operation of contract lines, provisions on the collection of airport fees, customs duties when moving goods, regulation of tariffs of designated carriers, were clarified by the Ministry of Transport.
