KAZAN, June 19 The international forum Kazan Digital Week will be held in Kazan for the fifth time from September 9 to 11, the forum organizing committee reports.
On Wednesday, a meeting of the organizing committee of the Kazan Digital Week forum took place in Kazan. It was headed by the Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation Maksut Shadayev, who held it via video conferencing. 
“The 2023 forum was successful. There was a busy program — 107 events. 23.7 thousand people, 814 speakers, 138 companies took part. This year the forum needs to be held on an even larger scale and with higher quality, especially since the Year of Scientific and Technological Development has been declared in Tatarstan «, the organizing committee quotes Shadayev as saying.
This year the event will be held from September 9 to 11, its participants will be manufacturers and users of digital technologies, software, and high-tech products. More than 100 companies will be represented at the exposition. Among them are Rostelecom, Kamaz, Atom, Alabuga SEZ, Innopolis SEZ.
Thematic sections will feature reports on the digitalization of government, industry, education, culture, healthcare, agriculture, transport, as well as cybersecurity, fintech, and venture investments. Particular attention will be paid to cyber-physical systems, mathematical methods in engineering and technology, and artificial intelligence. An international round table of mayors will be held on the topic “Modern city services”. Representatives of municipal authorities from Russia, China, the UAE, South Africa, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and other countries will take part in it.
The “IT Leader” competition will be held as part of the forum. The Association for the Promotion of Digital Development, together with the Investment and Venture Fund of Tatarstan, will hold a face-to-face acceleration, the 10 best startups will have the opportunity to place their solution in the exhibition area for free. It is planned to organize a job fair from the forum's partner companies.
«Last year, 36 agreements were signed at the forum site. We expect that this time the business part will be even more active,» said Deputy Co-Chairman of the Forum Organizing Committee, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Shamil Gafarov.
