MOSCOW, June 20 Russia and Vietnam are planning to increase contacts between legislative leaders and coordinate actions within parliamentary forums, follows from the joint statement of the Russian Federation and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
A joint statement on further deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership in the context of the 30th anniversary of the implementation of the Russian-Vietnamese Treaty on the Basics of Friendly Relations has been published on the Kremlin website.
«Among the tasks is to build up contacts between the heads of legislative authorities, the interparliamentary commission for cooperation of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, specialized committees and parliamentary friendship groups of the parliaments of the two countries, as well as along the party line, coordination of actions within the framework of international and regional parliamentary forums,” the statement says.
