MOSCOW, June 20 Russia will transfer scientific research to Vietnam -research vessel «Professor Gagarinsky», follows from the joint statement of the Russian Federation and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The joint statement on the further deepening of the comprehensive strategic partnership in the context of the 30th anniversary of the implementation of the Russian-Vietnamese Treaty on the Basics of Friendly Relations was published on the Kremlin website.< br>«Continue to promote the work of the joint Russian-Vietnamese tropical research and technology center (Tropcenter) through the effective use of its potential with the aim of becoming an exemplary model and symbol of cooperation between the two countries. Ensure that a wide range of studies of regional and of international importance, the research vessel «Professor Gagarinsky» will be transferred to Vietnam by Russian and Vietnamese specialists. The possibility of technology transfer within the framework of the Tropcenter’s activities will continue to be explored,” the statement says.
