KAZAN, June 22, Adela Ziatdinova. Average occupancy of the stands at sports facilities of the BRICS Games in Kazan amounted to 86%, said the Minister of Sports of Tatarstan Vladimir Leonov.
The BRICS Games are held from June 12 to 24 in Kazan. About 5 thousand athletes from more than 90 countries of the world take part in the competition; they will compete for 387 sets of medals.
«We were very popular among viewers. The average load on objects (of the BRICS Games) was 86%. I believe that we received a very good audience response, very serious coverage in the media. The result was very strong branding, we did not expect, that souvenirs will be in demand. The project was put together very well and with high quality, I want it to continue to live in approximately the same format in which we implemented it,” Leonov said.
