MOSCOW, June 21The opening of the exhibition “Fyodor Konyukhov. At All Poles,” which presents paintings by the Russian traveler, took place in the capital in the Underground Museum of Zaryadye Park on Friday, the correspondent reports.
Traveller, artist, priest Fyodor Konyukhov could not attend the opening, but sent a video message: “Thank you for your interest in my work. I wish you all to climb your spiritual Everest.”

As part of the opening of the exhibition, a fashion collection of singer Victoria Tsyganova was shown, which was inspired by the paintings and travels of Konyukhov.

The exhibition includes paintings by Konyukhov, testifying to his personal impressions of the expeditions, as well as lithographs, personal belongings, photographs and videos from his travels.
Konyukhov, a Soviet and Russian traveler, archpriest of the Russian Orthodox Church, was admitted to the Union of Artists of the USSR in 1983. Since 1996 — member of the Moscow Union of Artists (USA), academician of the Russian Academy of Arts. Konyukhov is the author of more than 3,000 paintings, participant in Russian and international exhibitions.
Konyukhov alone completed five circumnavigations of the world, crossed the Atlantic 17 times, and once on a rowing boat. The exhibition will open for the general public on June 22.
