MOSCOW, June 20 Canadian actor Donald Sutherland died at the age of 88, his son Kiefer wrote on the social network X.
«With a heavy heart “I inform you that my father, Donald Sutherland, has passed away,” the post reads.
The author of the publication did not indicate the cause of death, but noted that he considers his father one of the most important actors in the history of cinema.
< br />Donald Sutherland is best known for his role as President Snow in the Hunger Games film series. The artist was nominated for the Golden Globe and BAFTA awards, and earned several prestigious awards. The actor also received a Golden Globe in 2003 and an honorary Oscar in 2018.
