MOSCOW, June 23 The landing gear tire of the An-24 burst while landing in Kamchatka; there were no casualties, the Eastern Interregional Investigative Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia reported in its Telegram channel.
«On the afternoon of June 23, 2024, while landing at the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (Yelizovo) airport, the An-24 aircraft, which was flying on the Magadan-Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky route, suffered a rupture of the tire on the left landing gear. There were no casualties,» the report says.
It is specified that the causes and circumstances of the incident are being established.
