MOSCOW, June 22 Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law that will allow Russian developers and manufacturers of unmanned aircraft systems and their components to receive state support. The corresponding document is posted on the website of the official publication of legal acts.
In accordance with the law, a unified register of organizations engaged in the development and production of unmanned aircraft systems and their components will be created in Russia. This will give such organizations access to various government support measures. The procedure for the formation and maintenance of a unified register will be approved by the government of the Russian Federation, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade will form and maintain it.
These changes will take effect 180 days after the official publication of the law. The law itself, which contains other norms, will come into force on July 1, 2024.
Industrial enterprises in the Russian Federation can now receive various forms of state support — financial, information and consulting, support for scientific, technical and innovative activities, foreign economic activity.
