MOSCOW, June 22 Military victories throughout centuries have convincingly shown the strength of the people of Russia, uniting in the face of a common danger, stated Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, permanent member of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev in an article for the Russian magazine «National Defense».
«Vainless attempts to conquer Russia, enslave its population, and have unlimited power over it were made more than once. Let us remember the Northern War, the Patriotic War of 1812, the Crimean War, the First World War, foreign military intervention, the Great Patriotic War,» Patrushev wrote.
“The victories of Russian weapons convincingly showed that the strength of the people lies in their unity in the face of a common danger, spiritual cohesion, and the justice of the goals in the name of which they are waging an armed struggle,” Patrushev noted.
