MOSCOW, June 23 On June 24 and 26, the Moscow City Court will consider complaints to extend the term of arrest until August 22 for three defendants in the case of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall, while Muhammadsobir Fayzov is the first of the alleged perpetrators of the terrorist attack to appeal the preventive measure, the court reported.
“Consideration of the appeal in defense of Muhammadsobir Fayzov is scheduled for June 24, complaints in defense of Dzhumokhon Kurbonov and Nazrimad Lutfulloi — for June 26,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
Faizov is a native of Tajikistan born in 2004 with a secondary education, worked as a hairdresser in a barbershop in Ivanovo, and is also registered in the same city. He is one of four alleged perpetrators of the terrorist attack in Crocus. Previously, none of them filed complaints about the arrest or its extension.
Twelve people were arrested in Moscow in this case. Four of the alleged perpetrators were charged with committing a terrorist attack that resulted in death, as part of an organized group (clause «b» of part 3 of article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), and the rest were charged with aiding and abetting in the commission of this crime.
The terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall concert hall in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region, occurred on March 22: the attackers opened fire from automatic weapons at people in the building and set fire to the auditorium. 145 people were killed.
