BRUSSELS, June 24 Olympic medalist, TV presenter, deputy Moscow City Duma Maria Kiseleva is included in the anti-Russian sanctions list of the EU, follows from a document published in the official journal of the union.
According to the EU, the athlete supports actions and policies that allegedly “undermine the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine,” and in addition this is associated with the All-Russian Popular Front.
The EU Council on Monday approved the 14th package of anti-Russian sanctions, including economic and personal restrictions. Sanctions were imposed against 116 individuals and organizations (69 individuals and 47 organizations).
