MOSCOW, June 25 Specialists from the Vector Research Institute (part of the Ruselectronics holding of the Rostec state corporation) are upgrading the Post-3M electronic intelligence station, thanks to which they will Its functionality and reliability have been expanded, the Rostec press service reported.
«Research Institute «Vector» is working to modernize the Post-3M electronic reconnaissance stations. As a result, the functionality will be expanded and the reliability of the products will be increased. Among the monitoring objects of the station are radars of aircraft, helicopters, drones, ships, as well as ground-based radars for various purposes, deployed at command and control centers, at air bases, landing sites, launch and firing positions,» the statement says.
Rostec noted that the main advantage of Post-3M is all-round visibility in the sector from 0 to 360 degrees. The equipment reads the “handwriting” of military equipment, by analyzing which it is possible to accurately determine the type of emitting agent and the nature of its activity.
Electronic intelligence data makes it possible to warn the command in advance about security threats and to counter them in a timely manner. The station is completely autonomous — all its equipment is located on one chassis, and the combat mission is performed by a crew of two people per shift.
