Actor and singer Pektsorkin died in the SVO zone

Mikhail Pektsorkin, a 56-year-old actor and singer from the Gornomariysky Drama Theater, died in the SVO zone in Ukraine. This information was published by the press service of the theater, where Pektsorkin worked for several years.
Mikhail Pektsorkin was a master of the Gornomariysky language, as reported by Rossiyskaya Gazeta. He joined the Gornomariysky Drama Theater in the year of its foundation in 1994 in Kozmodemyansk. Pektsorkin also worked at the Sapayev Opera and Ballet Theater in Yoshkar-Ola before returning to the drama theater, where he continued his activities until being sent on a special military operation.
In addition to acting, Pektsorkin was known as a talented singer. He gave solo concerts and participated in Mari national festivals. His cover versions of world music hits (Queen, Modern Talking), performed in the Hill Mari language to promote this culture, became a special project.
The farewell to the artist is planned for June 27 at the Kozmodemyansk Folk Culture Center.
