Komi head: 10 injured in railway emergency hospitalized

Ten people injured in the derailment of the Vorkuta-Novorossiysk train were hospitalized in the Inta city hospital. This was reported by the head of the Komi Republic Vladimir Uyba on his Telegram channel.
Most of the victims suffered injuries in the form of bruises, abrasions and lacerations. The patients are in hospital; the help of resuscitators was not required.
According to the head of Komi, 11 medical specialists from Ukhta, 9 medical workers from Usinsk and 4 from Vorkuta arrived in the city to help the Inta doctors.
The incident on the railway in Komi occurred last Wednesday. Nine cars of passenger train No. 511 Vorkuta — Novorossiysk derailed on the section. According to Russian Railways, 46 people sought medical help. The reasons for the incident are being investigated — preliminarily, the road surface was washed away due to heavy rainfall.
