Avito Auto experts analyzed data on supply, demand, and prices for mopeds and scooters in Russia from March to May 2024. It turned out that demand is growing for both used and new vehicles, both year-on-year and seasonally.
The number of ads for the sale of used mopeds and scooters in the spring of 2024 was 158.9% higher than in the winter of this year. Year-on-year dynamics are also positive: supply has grown by 19.5%. The average price of vehicles in this segment was 67,999 rubles.
The largest share of announcements from March to May 2024 came from the Honda brand: it received 16.1%. In second place is the Alpha brand with 13.1%, in third place is Yamaha with 6.8%. The fourth line is occupied by the Suzuki brand, which received 5.2%, the fifth — Racer (5%).
The demand for used mopeds and scooters increased by 3.2 times during the season, and in relation to the spring of 2023 – by 10.9%. The leader in growth was the Racer brand: demand for it increased 4.4 times.

In terms of share of demand, the Alpha brand is the leader: it received 16.5% of all interest. In second place is Honda: its share is 16.1%. The third place in the ranking is occupied by Yamaha with a share of 6.3%, and fourth by Racer with 5.8%. The top 5 brands are completed by ABM, which received 4.8% of demand.
Among the models, the leader in demand is the Honda Dio AF-27: its share is 3.5%. This Japanese scooter represents the second generation of the Dio line and is characterized by compactness, maneuverability and high tuning potential. The average price of such a vehicle is 39,000 rubles. In second place is another model from this manufacturer: Dio AF-34 received 2.7% of demand at a price of 45,000 rubles. This is a representative of the third generation of scooter, the differences of which include an engine with a horizontal cylinder, a flat floor and “biodesign”, fashionable in the 90s of the last century, without sharp corners, but with dominant smooth lines.
Also in the top 5 were three models of the Chinese brand Alpha: RX 50 (110), CLASSIC 50 (110) and Sport (110). These are small, lightweight mopeds that look like motorcycles and are suitable for beginners.

In the segment of new mopeds and scooters, supply increased by 44.1% over the season. At the same time, the average price of such a vehicle was 113,500 rubles.
The leader in the number of advertisements among brands was Vento, whose vehicles are manufactured in China and the USA: its share is 12.5%. The Russian Motoland was slightly behind it, receiving 12.2% of the offer. In third place is the Italian brand Regulmoto with 6.9%, in fourth place is the Chinese Zontes with 6.8%. The Russian brand Racer closes the top 5 with 5.4%.

Demand for new mopeds and scooters increased by 247.2% during the season. The first place in terms of share in demand was shared between the Vento and Alpha brands, each of which received 14.9%. They are followed by Motoland with a share of 7.9%. Two more brands MM and Regulmoto each received 4.8% of the total demand for new scooters and mopeds.
The city scooter Vento Inferno received maximum interest from users of the Avito Auto platform in the spring of 2024: its share is 2.7% of demand, and the average price is 129,950 rubles. This is followed by three Alpha models: Cross (2.6%), Tourist (2.3%) and RX 50 (110) (2.2%). In fifth place is the Vento Smart III scooter with a share of 2.2% at a price of 148,500 rubles.
