WARSAW, June 27 The influx of Ukrainian refugees caused the increase in crime in Poland, said the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration of the country Tomasz Siemoniak on the radio station RadioZet.
According to the Polish Ministry of Internal Affairs for May, just over 950 thousand Ukrainians living in the country have valid registration. According to the UN forecast, by the end of the year there will be about 1.1 million Ukrainian refugees in the country.
““We have emigrants from Ukraine. We are glad that we were able to help them. At the same time, unfortunately, with them also comes crime, an increase in crime,” said Semonyak
The Minister did not specify how much Crime has increased in Poland with the arrival of Ukrainian refugees.
