MOSCOW, June 27 The Shchelkovo City Court of the Moscow Region arrested Anton Speshilov, the second defendant in the case of a fire in an administrative and industrial building in Fryazino, near Moscow, the court reported.
“The petition for Speshilov’s arrest was granted,” they said in court. 
The court also took into custody Yuri Fomin, Deputy General Director of Isprin LLC.
Earlier, the regional headquarters of the Investigative Committee in the Telegram channel announced the arrest of two people in the case of a fire in Fryazino near Moscow: the deputy general director of Isprin LLC, as well as a representative of the owner of the building.
The department established that the Isprin company was hired to ensure the safety of the property of the deceased owner-debtor; since 2021, the building has been under its jurisdiction.
The company's deputy general director and the representative of the building owner rented out the premises, collected money for utilities, but did not ensure their safety. In particular, they did not monitor the condition of the wiring and did not monitor compliance with fire safety requirements.
«The cause of death was also a violation of fire safety requirements in terms of the lack of alarm systems, warning systems, fire extinguishing systems, as well as blocking fire exits,» the Investigative Committee indicated.
A fire occurred in an eight-story building in Fryazino on Monday afternoon. The fire spread over an area of 5 thousand square meters. Six people were officially reported dead.
A criminal case was opened under the article “Performance of work or provision of services that does not meet the requirements for the safety of life or health of consumers, resulting in the death of two or more persons through negligence.”
