Trump: Putin's conditions for ending the conflict in Ukraine are unacceptable
Donald Trump
Presidential candidate Donald Trump at a debate with his opponent Joe Biden called Putin's conditions for ending the conflict in Ukraine unacceptable, RIA Novosti reports.
Trump expressed obvious dissatisfaction with the conditions proposed by Putin, considering them unacceptable. In his statements, he emphasized that he considers the conflict in Ukraine to be excessive and promised that he would resolve this issue even before he took office as president.
At the same time, Trump emphasized that the Russian-Ukrainian conflict would never have happened if If only the Russian leadership would respect the current president.
The parties continue to insist on their positions: Putin claims that in order to start negotiations, certain conditions must be met, including the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the territory of new regions of Russia and Ukraine’s renunciation of its intentions to join NATO. These requirements became the basis for further actions and negotiations between the parties.
