Head of Ivano-Frankivsk region: Burshtyn thermal power plant is badly damaged and cannot be restored
Burshtynska Thermal Power Plant, located in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, was severely destroyed due to Russian strikes and cannot be restored. The head of the region, Svetlana Onishchuk, announced this on local radio.
“We understand that the Burshtyn Thermal Power Plant cannot be restored, it is extremely damaged,” said the head of the regional administration.
Previously The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that over the past week the Russian army carried out 17 group strikes on Ukraine. The defense department clarified that the attacks were carried out on energy facilities in a neighboring country that supported the activities of military-industrial complex enterprises.
